It is a good day to play soccer. Paul is ready. He’s wearing shorts under his jeans. He takes off his jeans and lays them on the grass. Then he joins his friends for a game.

After the game, Paul grabs his jeans. He reaches for his wallet that is in the pocket of his jeans. Oh, no! It’s gone! What should he do?

First, Paul calls the police. He tells them about the theft of his wallet. They file a report. Then Paul calls the bank. A hold is placed on his checking account. His check card cannot be used by anyone.

Paul goes to the driver’s license office last. He tells them about his stolen wallet. He applies for a replacement license. Paul says to the clerk, “I learned a lesson the hard way. Never leave your wallet alone.”
