Libraries

Keesha wanted to read to her son. She knew reading was important. Reading to children helps them learn. She did not have any books at home. She went to the library. You can check out books for free at the library.

The librarian who worked at the library was very helpful. She helped Keesha get a library card. You need a library card to check out books. Library cards are free.

Keesha asked the librarian where to find children’s books. The librarian showed her the children’s room. The children’s room had many children’s books. Keesha chose three books. One book was about trucks. One book was about numbers. One book was about colors. The books had nice pictures. Keesha was very happy! She was excited to read them to her son. She knew he would like the books.

Keesha brought the books to the librarian. The librarian checked them out. The librarian said the books were ​due​​ in three weeks. Keesha needed to return the books to the library in three weeks.
