Looking for a Job

Are you looking for a job? Sam is looking for a job. He wants to work in a store. Sam’s friend, Juan, just found a job. Juan told Sam where he looked for a job.

Juan looked in the local newspaper. The newspaper has advertisements for jobs. He read all the advertisements for jobs. Juan looked at the public library. He asked for help. Some of the information was on the computer. Juan looked for “Help Wanted” signs. He talked to store owners to ask about a job. He told his friends he was looking for a job. Juan’s friends told him about jobs where they worked.

Juan visited the Workforce Center. The people there want to help you find a job. The person there told Juan about a job. Juan got that job.

Juan hopes that Sam will find a job too.
